Playing in the park

David was in Dallas Thursday night so I took Andrew to a little area with a swing, slide and a picnic table. So I brought a sandwich to eat and we played on the equipment. We had a great time, and Andrew was worn out! The only mishap was when we were leaving, Andrew was sad and stood up in the wagon and fell out backwards! It happened so fast, that I don't know what made me turn around, but when I did he was laying on his back! I was FREAKED! He got a strawberry on his little head and elbow, and was scared, but other than that no concussion or anything major. All night he said, "Mommy, bonked head!". Even when we called daddy, that is the first thing he said, "Daddy, bonked head!" Hopefully it is something that upset him enough he won't do it again, I know I am upset enough! Hope you enjoy the pics and see you all later!

Peek-a-boo is see you!

WEEE, I love the slide!

I could swing and swing and swing.......

Andrew had so much fun!

Comment on Andrew Playing

Andrew has just started singing while he plays or sits in the backseat. I love it that he chose this song over all. Some of his favorites are "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "ABC". The next blog shows a video of him singing and playing with his farm. Hope you enjoy this!

Fun on the River

We went to walk along the Riverwalk one night for our Family Night! Andrew had so much fun running and jumping and playing by the waterfall. We ate at a little sub shop there on the river, and had a great time! It is so fun to have kids at this age b/c they are so pure!
Everything is fun to them, especially things that come as a given to us, like jumping. I know that sounds funny, but that is Andrew's favorite thing to do right now. If we go over a curb, he wants to go back and jump, if we go down stairs, he wants to make sure that we jump of the last step. In fact the other day he took it so far as to jump over every crack in the parking lot. I thought, come on Andrew, I gotta go (fill in the blank), but they look at life like we look at Christmas, with brand-new eyes and wonder. We could all do to take a lesson from our little ones! Love you all!!
