A word from God's Word

Hey look at me two posts in one week!

Andrew spent last week at VBS and I played a couple of snipits of the songs he sang off the internet. He was in the living room and came running in the office screaming "my church music!". There was only a sample of each songs, but he knew the words and motions with anyone doing them with him! Our church was selling the CD's so I got one and started playing it today. He stood up on his Pooh train and started singing! I videoed him doing it and wanted to share it with you! It is so sweet to hear our children sing God's praises!

Our past month

Okay, for those who have had two kids for awhile and are able to post, I bow down to you!! :) I have not been able to post! Mainly b/c we got a new computer and I just now got all of my pics transfered over. But, it is hard to keep clean underwear in the house, much less download pics, but it has not stopped me from taking some. The only thing I have to watch is that I need to make sure I take pics of my wonderful son as well!

Each day Andrew does something funny! He had his end of the year program at Preschool and sang so well! We went to the Zoo when daddy was able to take his parental leave and he loved the animals! Kaitlyn slept the whole time, it was a great day. Last week was VBS and each day Andrew came home and told us something he learned and when we listened to the music he knew all the words and motions all by himself! The other day I asked what he was doing and he said, just thinking. He is getting so big!

Speaking of big, I cannot believe my baby is 2 months already! It seems like she has always been here, but at the same time time has flown! She has been diagnosed with colic so our evenings are kind of loud, but other than that she is a sweet happy baby who loves to watch her brother, She is beginning to smile and I forgot how that can melt your heart! We had fun showing Kaitlyn off to family and friends for the first time! What a blessing she is!

Hopefully I will post again soon, love to you all!

A whole new world

What a wonderful, but crazy couple of weeks this has been! To think one month ago I was still pregnant, now I am posting with my baby girl in my lap is insane! She is growing so much, and filling out so fast! I can't believe I can love someone so much and only know her a couple of weeks. Honestly having the four of us in the house is so natural, it feels like it has always been like this! David has been able to stay home some and then Andrew has gone to school on Tuesday and Thursday, so we have been able to bond. Andrew is always wanting to touch her or see her eyes. He told his uncle that "She poops a lot and can't eat because she doesn't have teeth" Out of the mouth of babes.

Needless to say Mother's Day was great. It was a little low key because I was still recovering and sleep deprived, but I got to spend it with my family and go to church and that is all that matters!

I hope this finds you well and can't wait to post more pics of our angel!

Exciting news!

Went to the Dr. on Wednesday, and I am at a 3! Soooo.....Thursday morning the 24th we will be going to the hospital to have our baby girl! I am really nervous this time. I don't know if it is because with Andrew he just came, and with her it has been the waiting game so I have had time to think. God is in control and this is His child, but I would appreciate your prayer for peace of mind up till and during the labor and delievery. I am so thrilled to see her and hold her and begin a new life with the four of us! Wow!! Thanks in advance for your prayers, love you all and next time I post it will be with news on our little girl!!

Another update

I went to the Dr. today and I am 2 cm dialated! I will be 37 weeks on Friday and I went into labor at 37 with Andrew. My water broke with Andrew and I was only 1/2 cm dialated, so I was freaking out today in the Dr.'s office!!!! God knows the time and He is in control. Does anyone else but me wish God would send emails and let us know what is going to happen in life? :)

We now have a crib and a changing table, but our dresser was broken when we took it out of the box, and it is not in the warehouse, so we have to wait for it to get to the warehouse, then we can order it. My obessesive self wants everything in the right place before she gets here, so I guess it is God's way of telling me not everything has to be perfect!

I will continue to keep everyone updated and can't wait to post pretty pictures of our little girl!!

Easter 2008

Greetings from our home! We are just a couple of weeks away from being a family of three to a family of four and I am trying hard not to freak out! :) I am so excited about our precious girl and cannot wait to hold her, but I am a little sad to think that this is the last couple of weeks with just Andrew and us. I keep thinking, your life is getting ready to change and you have no clue!
Here are some pics from our fun Easter! We had a Easter Egg hunt with our church Saturday and then went to Collinsville and hunted some more. On the way I asked what Andrew learned in Sunday School and he said, Jesus is Alive! I am so glad that he is getting a foundation into our Lord and Savior and learning that this is the most important holiday of all, the death of Jesus for our sins and the Resurrection so we can have eternal life, Praise God!!!!!
